Welcome to True Partnership & My CALM Method you and your horse will love!

My website is just a glimpse of into what I have to offer you and your horse. It is easy for you to understand and learn My CALM Method of Natural Horsemanship. CALM simply stands for my Calm Australian Learning Method.

As you journey farther into my website you'll become aware of my philosophies and beliefs about working with horses. A lot of these same thoughts can be translated into our everyday lives as we deal with people and all of God's other creatures. It basically comes down to respect, trust, communication, and love for our fellow beings.

Tip of the Month:
If you want to improve on something:
1. Break it down into small steps, so your horse can get the right answer!
2. Don't drill work short periods.
3. If he is having trouble, work on something he can do. 4.Remember, he can have a bad day, but you don't have to have one with him!

True Suppleness is softness that develops in the following order:
1. Respond to a cue of following the rein
2. Follow the rein with the feet moving, head bent in direction of rein
3. Moving the hip and shoulder with the follow of the rein
3. Repeat above at all gaits,
4. Help your horse find where you ultimately want him to give...the base of his neck on each rein independently.
5. Repeat at all gaits, moving hips and shoulders into and away from the rein with the head straight!
