2009 We are moving along!
We have a few things already planned for this year!
JANUARY-APRIL: I am busy training my second Mustang for the
Midwest Mustang Challenge. You can view my progress in Jessie
Willyerd's Blog. Jessie has been generous to not only
cover our progress, but also to come out, shoot video and take
pictures and post them! THANKS JESSIE!!
Thanks also to FINNEGAN's RV located in South Beloit
Illinois! They have really been supportive of Tracy and my
mustang endeavors. That is why I named this wonderful
mare...Little Miss Finnegan. Her barn name is Choke, since
that is what she did immediately after departing from the trailer
when I brought her home. That first night, she allowed
myself and Tracy to palpate her neck. She had saliva spewing
from her nose and mouth. Eventually the clog passed and the
next morning I walked right up to her in her stall and down the
barn aisle into the round pen. She has been a delight to
work with.
Tracy decided not to do this
challenge, but instead is working with her mustang from last year's
challenge
"HOLY SOCKS" as
well as our other mustang Carolina and Caz her Paso Fino
Stallion. Sock's and Carolina will be participating in the
breed demo at the Midwest Horse Fair.
APRIL: a clinic
is planned the last weekend in the month in Eagle Wisconsin.
I will then be spending 8 days starting horses with Dennis Auslam
in North Dakota.
MAY: I will be
spending the month at Allyn McCracken's
Bannockburn Farm
starting her wonderful warmbloods.
JUNE: clinics
planned both at home and in Kentucky.
JULY: We've been
invited out to South Dakota to Mari Monda Zdunic's ranch and are
looking forward to going!
